After reading Saving Without Scrimping’s post on finding out if you are considered “thrifty,” “low-cost,” “moderate,” or “liberal” based on your weekly grocery costs (see the post here), I was curious to see if there was an updated chart out there that adjusted for inflation (Saving Without Scrimping fits into the “low-cost” category in 1993 dollars- impressive!).   1. Hi O+M!! What an interesting chart!! From what I spend we’re on the low cost plan–just two of us retired, no big eaters at home. BUT– we do eat out a couple days a week– lunch with friends, dinners out. So hmmm. I know we spend more than I think! Happy weekend!! Hope you’re doing well. xo
